what is t.x.t?
Toadal Cross-training (T.X.T) is a 45min small group training (3-12 people) kettlebell-based cross training program. It provides a fun, scalable, constantly varied workout taught with safety in mind. It has the heart of CrossFit and the brain of a personal trainer (emphasizes form and results.) The small groups allow accountability, motivation, nutritional help and ultimately unlimited variety. We are sponsored by Toadal Fitness, which means you will find us at all 5 Toadal Fitness Club locations in Santa Cruz, Scotts Valley & Aptos.

We use fundamental exercises like Deadlifts, Squats, Presses, and Pulls as the staples of our muscle building program. In Toadal Crosstraining we use Kettlebell training that combines explosive strength with muscular endurance to provide an efficient and athletically optimized full body workout. One major advantage that kettlebells have over dumbbells is that you don’t need a wide range of weight increments to challenge your self. how is our toadal cross training program different?
Each training session is challenging, yet we make sure to pay attention to your personal needs. We believe that we are very capable of developing, strength, endurance and mobility. We just need to learn to listen to what our bodies need, with out pushing so hard. Listening to what your personal needs are, and fulfilling those needs, is what we are good at. All in just 45 mins. 3-5 days per week is all you need.
