WHAT IS TOADAL CROSS-TRAINING?
Toadal Cross-training (T.X.T) is a 45 min small group training (3-12 people) strength and conditioning cross-training program. It provides fun, scale-able, constantly varied workouts. Our focus is to emphasize great form to help you safely gain strength with the help of our trainers and our 10 week strength program. With our program you gain accountability, motivation and ultimately unlimited variety to help all levels of fitness attain their fitness and health goals. why kettlebells?
We use fundamental exercises like Deadlifts, Squats, Presses, and Pulls as the staples of our muscle building program. In Toadal Crosstraining we use Kettlebell training that combines explosive strength with muscular endurance to provide an efficient and athletically optimized full body workout. One major advantage that kettlebells have over dumbbells is that you don’t need a wide range of weight increments to challenge your self. "University of Wisconsin-Lacrosse subjects who performed full-body kettlebell workouts saw a 70% increase in core strength and a 13.8% boost in aerobic capacity." - ONNIT ACADEMY.
how is our toadal cross training program different?
We follow a 10 week Strength program starting with volume in reps and tempo reps with lighter weights. We slowly progress over the 10 weeks to smaller sets and reps and heavier weights for maximal strength and safety in minimal time. We finish class with a workout of the day (WOD) that is generally met con style of any where 15-30 min.
Each training session is challenging, yet we make sure to pay attention to your personal needs. We believe that we are very capable of developing, strength, endurance and mobility. We just need to learn to listen to what our bodies need, with out pushing to hard. Listening to what your personal needs are and fulfilling those needs, is what we are good at. All in just 45 mins. 3-5 days per week is all you need.
